Harle-Tsu CBD Strain Review
The CBD industry has came a very long way in the past few years and it is a hundred times more accessible now than ever before. Back just a few years ago it seems like Charlotte’s Web was the only CBD rich strain on the market, but now there are dozens if not hundreds of different 50 state legal CBD strains to choose from.
Many different companies have been using selective breeding to increase CBD levels in their strains while decreasing the THC content. Southern Humboldt Seed Collective is one of these said companies and they were responsible for the creation of the CBD-rich Harle-Tsu cannabis strain!
Harle-Tsu CBD Strain Lineage
The Southern Humboldt Seed Collective created the Harle-Tsu strain by crossing Harlequin and Sour Tsunami. The end result is now a staple in the CBD industry with CBD levels between 9-22 percent and virtually non-existent levels of THC!
Harle-Tsu Strain Flavor Profile
The smell of this strain is very sweet with hints of pine and citrus in the mix. The smell almost reminds me of some type of candy because of the sweetness with the citrus undertones. The taste of Harle-Tsu isn’t bad, but it doesn’t taste quite as good as it smells. The sweetness and the pine doesn’t really shine through to the taste which leaves it tasting earthy, herbal, with just a hint of the citrus undertones coming through. I would say that this strain tastes better than most CBD-rich strains out there, but it definitely isn’t the absolute best when it comes to flavor.
Harle-Tsu Bud Consistency
The nugs of Harle-Tsu that I received were fairly large in size with a pale green color. There was some decent coverage when it comes to trichomes, but it’s not nearly as shiny as your normal high THC strain would be. The nugs themselves are light and airy as this strain is a sativa-dominant strain so if you are looking for extremely dense and tight buds, this probably isn’t the strain for you. The nugs are pretty sticky as well so you might want to think about using a grinder when breaking down the Harle-Tsu strain.
While most CBD-rich strains seem to put me in a relaxed state, Harle-Tsu seemed to have the opposite effect on me. I felt energized, awake, and ready to take on any task that they day might throw at me. I still felt a little bit on the tense side physically, but the knee pain that I suffer from was completely wiped out by this strain. I actually opted to go for a run about 30 minutes after I consumed a joint, and I really felt like I had extra pep in my step.
My anxiety level certainly dropped after using Harle-Tsu as well and while I wasn’t feeling particularly depressed or down on the day that I tried it out, I have a feeling that it would be a good strain for one dealing with depression. I definitely didn’t feel sleepy after using this strain, but I did end up getting very good sleep the night after using it. I went to bed about 3-4 hours after I last smoked, and I am not sure if I would be able to go to sleep directly after using this strain because of the big energy boost that it gave me.
Harle-Tsu Strain Overview
If you are looking for a 50 state legal CBD rich strain to try out, this is definitely a viable option. The smell and taste is above average compared to most CBD strains, and the effects were certainly abundant and pleasant. If you are a sativa lover looking for CBD strains, this is THE perfect strain for you. If you are looking for relaxation or immediate sleep after use, you might want to go with another option.
